i like the way it looks but to be honest after awhile, it looks so busy..too many lines and curves and the interior has too many buttons to play with

but i know for sure that it's a head turner and I'm with bruce...the M Coupe is way better looking than the Z4 Ragtop

My buddy bought a Z4 coupe for his wife. Not the M, but I rode in it and the interior was nice.

Kinda cramped though and the rear hatch area seems about as useful as one of the trunks on a boxster.

Have you considered keeping what you have and saving that extra cash for retirement or paying off any excess debt you may have?

Just a thought from an older guy who wishes he'd started saving far younger in life to be that much closer to retirement (or doing something more fun with my days instead of coming into the office).

I did the M Driving School a little over a year ago and we spent about 1/2 the day in those cars. Lot's of fun. The only drawback I see is they are a bit cramped and dark inside. Love that big, fat steering wheel.

The M Coupe is hard to fault. IMO, it comes down to whether you're a "Porsche guy" or a "BMW guy" - or in my case, both! So, that's my solution - buy both!

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm really leaning towards getting this car! The biggest obstacle will be bringing myself to sell my car first.

Blkboxster, this new-car-itis was brought forth by finding a 335i Coupe that I wanted -similar to you. But I recall from a test drive last year that it was too soft for me compared to the Boxster. But this M I hear is pretty firm.

Looks like I need to do a test drive.

I say go for it! I've always been a BMW fan. I had an old 1980 528i back in high school with 5 spd. I've had love for the M badge since driving a 400 hp M5 a few years ago.
