Speed Humps

Put the speed humps on my car yesterday and I thought some of you might want to see what they look like.

Then I took a ride over to ChiTownDad's to check out his system. Man, that AVIC is an awesome setup, and his car sounds incredible with the upgraded speakers and amp !

Well, it looks like I'll be keeping the humps ( sorry, Blink ! ). I can confirm that there is no strap to attach to the rollbars. From previous posts I thought maybe it was missing, but it looks like that is not how mine are designed ( it connects to the spinlocks, and to the rollbar and clamshell via metal brackets ). And yes, mine are OEM and not aftermarket.

Hope everyone had a great weekend...

Nick

"sorry blink"??????????

You promised those to ME last year at the tail of the dragon meet!

I've got aftermarket ones and wish I had found some black factory units. Mine don't fit all that well and are a real pain to put on with the straps that go around the rollbar.

Great look though, eh?

I feel like Speed Racer while driving my box with them on. As a matter of fact, I have them on the car right now... Odd you should do the same and post about it!

Looks great! I recently got my humps painted and on my car, they're on there now. It's surprising how much just the humps change the looks of the car. I parked next to a stock Boxster a couple weeks ago. The owner came out while I was waiting by my car. Did he comment on the Gemballa rear bumper, side skirts, Kokeln intakes, GT3 front bumper, CF hood... NOPE. The thing that stood out that he commented on was the humps!

There have been 2 versions of the factory humps and both versions have a provision for the velcro straps around the roll bar.

Ignore the 3rd strap in the picture because that is 1 of the 2 straps for the rucksack.

Randall,

You already have a pair, what are you gonna do with two ?

Blink,

I would love to deamber. The rear and side are no problem, I just can't seem to justify spending the $$$ to change my headlights just to get rid of the color.

TP,

I don't see anywhere possible on mine where the straps would go ?

If you want pictures, let me know, I'd be happy to post them up...

Thanks,

Nick
