I wish there was frunk idiot light

I wish porsche would have made an idiot light to let you know if the frunk is not closed all the way.

I realized after arriving home from autocross today (about a 60 mi hwy trip) I had only latched the frunk and not completely closed it. With a quick blast to 100+ at one point, am am feeling fortunate Porsche at least made the latch strong enough to withstand that.

My 02 has such a light on the dash. It shows a pic of both lids up.

My 04 tells me if either trunk / boot isn't completely secured.

My 01 does have idiot lights that tell you if either trunk is open.

Ah well that's cool, I'm glad they added that. Wish they had included that on my 99.

Kabel,

My 99 doesn't have a trunk idiot light either...

I wonder if this was added in 2000 or 2001 ( Boxtaboy's 01 has it ) ?

Anyone with a 2000 wanna chime in ?

Thanks,

Nick

The trunk warning light started for model year 2001 when the electric releases and 3 button remote came out.
