White smoke on hard acceleration

redhead Registered User Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Cape Town Posts: 2	Smoke, smoke, smoke everywhere... Hi! Same thing happened to me with my 2001 BoxsterS. Hard acceleration, 6000+ rpm. Massive explosion of smoke! Spectacular display. However, my engine warning light flashed for about a minute or so. This was in a straight line, and no incline. Same display as a blown head gasket (I would think). That was 2 days ago. She is no longer smoking though. Could it have been some "dirt in the system, as this happened straight after an oil change?
