nah, i have a tolltag and don't drive the tollway unless i have to
lighted plates give them less of a reason to pull me over... unlike my boy with the 996 with bad plate wiring so they don't light up... reg up to date, no warrants, all lights working = drive on by, mr. policeman
this is who i bought from... multiple times (i've done license plates, door courtesy lights, dome lighting, front & rear trunks)... fast shipping and product works w/ no DOA each time .. i have no affiliation, just a good experience

fyi, my trunk is open in the picture and that is the trunk bulb, which is a regular bulb, not the LED... so you can see the difference between bulb and LED in color...
the plate bulbs and trunk bulbs are similar but the trunk bulbs are longer... i think it's 37mm and 39mm if i'm not mistaken

What's the part # on the exact bulbs you bought?
The festoon bulbs I saw are 24.99 not 9.99. Are they a direct fit?

trunk (both) are single-bulb each, 6411 which is the 39mm, not the 36mm unit (even then it was slightly short so i bent the metal piece a little to make it work so maybe order the 42mm one) - so qty 2 to do front & rear
courtesy lights on door are one bulb each - 2825, which is this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/2-Bulbs-Super-White-T10-1-Led-194-168-2825-Side-Lights_W0QQitemZ380026740838QQihZ025QQcategoryZ337 13QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
for a total of 2, then the center dome light area i believe is a single 6418 which is the one i posted previously
and this seller does reduced shipping for multiple items, too
enjoy! i *LOVE* the way it makes my car look

yep, exact same shape as a bulb, just as if you're replacing a burnt out one... no tools needed for courtesy/dome/trunks.. only a philips for 2 sets of 2 screws and you're done... 10 minutes for everything... will be the best $20-30 you spend in appearance mods...
note that the bulbs have a flat circuit board in them with surface-mount LED's facing one direction ONLY so whatever direction the light is pointing out at, there is ZERO light on the other side, so align them (easy to do and will make sense when you see them) before you close it back up... i probably didn't even have to say it because you'll understand when you put them in that only a COMPLETE idiot wouldn't get it right the first time
