996 electric seats, straight swap into boxster?

does anyone know if there are any pitfalls to look out for in fitting 996 half leather electric seats into a 1997 boxster? I have electric drivers seat but non electric passenger seat. I would have thought it was a straight swap?

It is doable, if you're willing to do some wiring. On the driver seat, most 996 power seats have memory, so you need to run some extra wiring to power the memory controller. On the passenger side, you will need to run wiring to power the seat.

If you decide to do this, PM me and I can send you the wiring diagrams.
