986 boxster Alcantara Question ?

I was advsied by porsche specialist ( Porsche hatfield ) that you can get replacement alcantara material to cover the original..... Yet porsche dealer ship does not do this....is there a way of doing this or am i wishing ?

Gulf Fabrics in FL is the national distributor for Alcantara and they will sell to individuals by the yard. They told me the stock Porsche color is "light black", color code 9002 and it comes in "Pannel" for most coverings and "cover" for seating surfaces (it has a backing to it).
