SportTechno wheels anyone?

Hey there,

I am in need of new tires for my 2004 BoxsterS but I figured maybe I could also swap my wheels as well. Currently I have the BoxsterS II wheels which I like but I could use something different now!

I am interested in two types of wheels. Mainly the SportTechno ones.

Questions are:

- Has anyone fitted in a Boxster before?
- Any pics?
- Are they a direct fit or changes required?

By the way, I am talking about the 18" ones not the 20" that the put on the Cayenne.

Other than that I am also interested in the Carrera Classics (5-spoke) ones. If anyone is selling them I would be interested! Interested also with tires.

Thanks in advance!

I'm getting replica Sport Technos put on my ride in less than two weeks. I chose the replicas because the factory 986 spec S.T.s are only 9" in the rear,I want 10" which is what the replicas are. No spacers, the wheels fit as is.

Here are some pics.

Hey thanks!

Those look good in that Boxster! I am definitely interested now. Post some pics up when you fit them in!

How many " for the front? I found them here. OEM, is this a trustworthy website and prices are good?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Where did you buy your replicas from? Do you trust the quality?

I bought mine from wheelsandcaps, they sell on eBay and have a website.

The dudes are really cool there. I think it was something like $750 shipped to my house for Italian replicas. The price included wheels only,no center caps no nothing, shipping 5-7 days UPS Ground.

I've heard that their replicas come in the same boxes and are the same quality as Wheel Dynamics but $400-500 less. BUT wheelsandcaps is also a much larger operation then Wheel Dynamics so I can see how they have much better prices.

I'll post pics when they arrive. I can't wait.

Trust me,I checked on the quality before I bought them. I searched every forum I could find, talked to people who have them found out that everyone who has had them was satisfied, not one complaint.(even from the dudes that did DE and Auto-x on them)

Many of us have run Italian replicas, Jeph, Unklekraker, my Dad, myself, RandallNeighbour and a number of other members on here, like I said not one complaint.
