Question Any Advice? -Squeaky glass rear window

My 2004MY car has developed a very annoying squeak from the glass rear window. You can hear it the car flexes over bumps etc. When stationary the same noise can be heard by pressing on the lower edge of the window in the middle where it meets the hood. :ah:

Has anyone been able to fix this? - Thanks

Mine does the same thing. Yes, can be annoying. I've been investigating a solution, but I have nothing to offer just yet.

Would waxing help it? Or a quick detail spray? Reduce the friction...and less noise? Worth a shot.

Thumbs up

I think it may have started after I cleaned the outside of the window with standard liquid glass cleaner. It might be a coincidence though. The cleaner is a solvent which may have got into the seal between the window and the hood. If I can lubricate the seal this might help although i don't want to make a mess of the hood. I will have another look this week and post if i have any success.

Thanks
