Moisture under trunk lid???

Got some moisture on the underside of the trunk lid right above the oil and coolant openings. I replaced the coolant cap 4 days ago. What else could this be. Oh...my temp light flashes...checked my coolant level and its just a little low. Obviously from the escaping moisture.

Make sure the new cap is very-very tight. Use a pair of rubber gloves or one of those rubber grippy thingies from the kitchen for opening jars, to get a good grip.

It could also be a cracked/leaky overflow coolant tank. Is there any moisture under the carpet?

No moisture on the carpet.
I thought I had it on there really tight, but I will add some water and tighten it down like no other lol
That has to be it though. How else would there be moisture right there on the trunk lid?

Use distilled water, FYI. Did you check under the carpet?

It could also be some latient moisture from the old cap, in the trunk area.
