Clutch Issue when fan is on

Hello All -

Situation:

While releasing the clutch pedal in 1st gear from a stop I am getting a little bit of a jerk, somewhere between the feel of when you started to learn to drive a stick and a failing clutch.

But this only happens when I have either the A/C or heater on with Fan and car is cold, after it warms up 180+ I do not have the issue. Tried while car was cold and fan turned off and clutch feel is great.

I seldom run the car with the top up or the A/C or heater on, but the other day it was a little chilly with top down and I had turned on the heater to warm the toes a bit when I discovered it.

Also when I say cold I am only talking in the 60's

Car;
2000 986 base
45k mileage

Thanks

What RPM's are you holding while using first gear from a stop?

I might say that your jerk issue probably not related to the electric fan, rather i would it could be the pressure plate is warped a bit and once the pressure plate and clutch disc have warmed up enough, you feel the jerk motion less.

I'm guessing a little more pressure on the gas pedal will eliminate this issue. When the A/C is on and the car is cold, there is less torque available to get the car moving.
