What did everyone get for Christmas?

A little early, but we open gifts on Christmas Eve.. How about you guys, what did you guys get this year??

From Dad... Porsche Tequipment Car Cover for the 986

From Mom... Porsche Martini Racing hat

From my Brother... Nixon Rotolog Burlwood

The watch was by far the coolest gift I got this year, and by far the coolest watch I own. I just got home and realized my Omega is still sitting on my parents Coffee Table

Where doing presents tonight as well, because everyone is busy tomorrow. I really like the watch, I almost got one like that but I needed something with a timer for sailing.
I let you know what I got, but I did gift myself a Sears floor jack as an early Christmas present early today, and my late Christmas present will be a hockey to make a jack plate.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I asked the wife for a full set of metric craftsman tools and a nice rolling tool chest in which to keep them, saying that if she sprung for the tools, I could do more work on the cars and save the cost of the tools the first year in labor on repairs alone.

I'm an idiot. Now I MUST work on my cars myself!

On a brighter side, I got a watch winder and a 18 year old bottle of Macallan scotch.

Good haul this year for me:

Among other things, a B&M shifter and a new helmet. Looks like the shifter will be going in tomorrow...

Among other things, we got a portable Garmin GPS unit. Haven't tried it in the car yet---just being lazy, loungin' around the house and eating for a few days---but I did take a walk around the neighborhood with it. (I've never used one before...As Bruce Willis was told in the latest Die Hard, I'm sort of an analog guy in a digital world.)

It was super dark, could hardly see my hand in front of my face, let alone the road or surroundings. Like some wide-eyed 7 year old, I was so absorbed by the glowing of the GPS screen in my hand, watchng in fascinatinon as it displayed my progress turn by turn, that several times I lost the middle of the road and found myself stumbling into the drainage ditch along side the street like some drunken fool .

It was kinda funny. I felt like an idiot but was having a great time at it.

Wife got me a MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC WD73733 73" 16:9 Black DLP Technology 1080p Rear-Projection HDTV

It's delivery date is Jan 4th (thing is quite bulky) and it gets delivered right upstairs to media room.

I'll get it setup, dialed in just in time for '08 auto racing season to start......

lump o cole...again!

a client gave me a gift card to Nordstrom and a bottle of wine. Which I then re-gifted to the latest missus. Is that bad? I met after Thanksgiving but didn't go out with her until after Xmas. I think thats international waters in my book.

^ I want a Smorsche too!

I got an OBD II reader, shop light, Porsche hat, floor jack, and a Bentley manual along with some other little things non-car things, and some ski stuff. The Bentley Manual is amazing, it's 1000+ pages of knowledge I might actually use someday. I would recommend that those of you who don't have on, get one.

Merry Christmas!

UPDATE:
And if anyone cares a giant Porsche Boxster parking sign for the garage.
