Both times I've pulled up beside a 911 at a traffic light or on the road, I've tried to wave and smile and just say hello. Both times I've gotten the "I'm superior" treatment. I don't understand it, but it's very real.

Also, I will not be renewing my PCA membership next year. Our local chapter has a few good guys, but the core group, including the president, is made up of a clique of club racers that drive mostly 911s. If you're not one of them, you're ignored at the meetings, looked down upon, just generally made to feel like you're not worthy.

Screw 'em. Most of them are a gold chain away from driving a 'vette anyway.
