Wow, Griz, you MUST be feeling better. Good for you. I sort of did the same thing the first time I used RaggTopp, but instead of drop cloths I used overlapping layers of newspaper along the top of the windshield and over the windows, and blue taping some at the back, below the rear window.
It was pretty easy, and worked well, but I mashed the HELL out of one of my fingers in the process. I was putting the newspaper over one of the windows, which was down the 1/2" or so it normally goes down when the door is open or, as in this case, isn't latched tightly closed. While the victim-finger was above the top of the glass I STUPIDLY leaned against the door, closing it with predictable results. Those window motors are quite a bit more powerful than I had realized. (I've mashed a finger a number of times through the years swinging a hammer, but that pain was never any worse than with Boxster window incident.)
