Having driven all the above at speed on racetracks as a PCA instructor, there is no comparison. GT3RS wins hands down. Closest you can get to a real GT3RSR and worth every penny.

I've heard the Turbo-Cab being described as the 'Ultimate 4wd". Really a great car for four seasons - with back seats and crazy versatility. Not to mention it does 0 - 60 in 3.8 seconds (with Tip). I seem to be in the minority, but it has my vote!

GT3 for me. I am a bit of a track hound but I don't want a car that will knock my fillings loose on a Sunday drive in the mountains (RS). This is a lot of car and many who own them only scratch the surface of their true performance. Once in a while someone who really knows how to use it will turn some laps... and Whew!

The Turbo is just too much car for me. Too heavy, don't need 4wd, will never ever see 200mph in it, back seats are useless for anyone over 35lbs, and my little 2.5 Box already runs circles around them at the local track. If I lived in central Germany with the Autobahn in my backyard I might feel differently.

Well guys, at todays Porsche drive having a Boxster TT paid off. The guy with the 600 hp 996 TT wanted to drive my car so he drove mine and I drove his, after we got back a 07 GT3 wanted a turn.

After driving the modded 02 996 TT and the stock 997 GT3 with only 2k miles. I would put my money in the 996TT.

The TT pulled from 2000rpm and was faster than I ever felt, the GT3 felt lack luster until 5000rpm compared to the TT. On a curvey road the GT3 may be better, on the track the GT3 may better, but for my money the TT seemed near perfect.

I do alot if interstate driving and the backroads still would have the Boxster.

Now the disclosure, I only drove about 10 miles in each car.

Growing up the car magazines said how amazing Porsches are. Was I brainwashed? Somehow...I doubt it.
