I just wanted to do a rollcall and see who here was from the DC area.. I've seen a couple of posts from MD, but I wanted to see how many of us were actually here.

I live in Maryland, 30 miles north of Baltimore

Richmond, VA (2 hours south), but I have an office in Mclean so I'm up there quite a bit. I'd be up for a GTG!

Just outside the District border in Silver Spring, MD

Five minutes south of Annapolis.

Live in Manassas, commute to Alexandria for work. Don't have a Boxster but I'm considering an early model for my next money pit. Currently have a supercharged BMW 328i.

I remember that city quite well.

Last week when I took a bus from Montreal to Washington to pick up my Boxster S the bus driver left without out me at the Silver Spring station after what I thought was a 10 minute break which turned out to be an 8 minute break.....

I had all my stuff in the bus so I ended up having to take a taxi to Washington and then run to the bus terminal to get there before the bus with my stuff in it arrived.

I'm in Fairfax close to Woodson H.S. and 495. GTG sounds groovy.

I'm in Northern Virginia also. 25 minutes south of D.C.

So far out of 13 replies, there are:

MD: 3

NoVA: 7 (includes Manassas and Quantico; you have to be from here to understand...)

Oth VA: 3

Looks like a GTG located in No VA would be most central to all so far. Any shopping center with good coffee and an open parking lot would be a nice location for a first time GTG for the 986forum Mid-Atlantic contingent!

Potomac Mills or Tyson's Corner are possiblities???
