Looking for a shift knob
Hello,
Does anyone know where I can purchase a shift knob that looks like the one in the picture below? It would be great if it came with the silver trim around the boot, if not would you know where I can find both?
Thanks

I'm not sure of which shift knob you posted but I have a grey/aluminum 5-speed knob for sale. You can have it for pretty darn cheap. PM me if interested.

Your picture isn't showing.
Also, eBay always has a few steals.

That's strange, I can see the picture just fine
The picture is from http://www.whiteson.org/boxster/gallery/ I clicked on black interior, carbon fiber for options. Everything else was left at the default. It should be pic number 12, the one with the purple looking console.
blinkwatt, what does your shifter look like, I'm looking for one similar to the one in the picture I attached. Thanks

They only make that version of the shifter for an S (6-speed). If you have an S, you can purchase those through Suncoast Porsche, among other places. They go for about $300.

I have that carbon fiber gear stick fitted in my S, very nice it is too
I still have the original shift knob, looks almost the same (without the carbon fiber of course) and it has the silver trim around the boot. For some reason, the silver trim has "bubbled" a little on the right hand side, but nothing that couldn't be fixed if you're that way inclined.
The leather on it is a dark blue, almost black color and apart from the slight bubbling I mentioned, is in great condition. If you're interested, just drop me a PM.
Cheers, Gord.

blink-
I sent you an email today - never got any pix. If that's yours and it's in good shape (and no previous other takers) consider it done. PM me details. Thanks!

*Back to the original posters thread. Sorry.
I think there is a part # for the shift knob 'horseshoe'. Check out Suncoast Motorsports site, might be on there.

It was from "Boardwalk Porsche" in Plano, Texas.
