Check engine light

I just hit the 45,000 mark in my boxster and the check engine light just came on. The car is still running great but my question is should I be alarmed about this or is it a scheduled maintance issue.

Go to autozone and have them pull your codes, they will for free.

Then post the results....

Will they knew what the codes are ? Do they have a reference book for porsches?
