			The crossmember bar is covered in oil directly below the tranny and it's leaked down and made a mess in the surrounding area as well.  I think you have a RMS leak. 			Oil dripping is a precursor to the RMS leak.  I would recommend not driving the car and having it towed to your mechanic.  The can replace the seal for about $700, vs. 10k for a new engine.

			I haven't had a problem with the RMS, but the oil filler tube on my car developed a hole, and I had some oil in the same area.  If you recently changed your oil, that could be the culprit. 
 
As the other posters said, have it checked out by someone with Porsche experience.  The oil filler tube is a fairly inexpensive repair for a Porsche (I think I paid around $200) and the RMS (Rear Main Seal) isn't that bad when compared to the cost of a new engine.

			Is the concensus not to drive it until replaced? The oil hasn't been changed since Jan. 07 at 45K so it most likely isn't the oil fill tube.

			A leaking RMS will not blow up the motor unless you let the oil level drop too far and then ignore the low oil pressure IDIOT light.

			If you keep the oil level up, the RMS issues will not harm your car. 
It will soil your floor though?
