Thanks for the reply;

It’s a 5 speed not 6. I was under the impression that it was just a question of a few sychro parts.

My hesitation with used motors and transmissions is that you really have no Idea of the mileage. In addition, my trans went from a little annoying to impossible (except by dbl. clutching to the max) in 4 or 5k. Seems they can go down hill quick (no?).

Anyway, I haven’t seem on for less than $2500, which is the low end at my shop.

More thoughts are welcome….
