The car is pretty much stock except for some sound equipment. It's Arctic Silver with black leather interior, in pretty good shape over all, runs very well. I think I'll have to fight off my wife to drive it since she seems to love it as much as I.

The tires were worn out so we have already installed new Michelin Pilot Sport Ribs on it and have a set of nearly new Blizzaks that came with it. Attached is a photo that the previous owner had posted when he was selling the car. Some of you may recognize it..................

I wasn't in the market really, but it was too good a deal to pass up. We're in the same SCCA region and he sent out an email to the membership. It just got me thinkin' ..................................... Now it's in my driveway.

Nice car collection -- you need to share some more details about your garage with us sometime...

			Congrats on the Car!
The only tool I know of is the oil wrench. Eagleday.com has them.
And the center rim cap remover. But you can make your own with a wire hanger.

The SC, very early 1978 (I believe the 15th SC built 9118300015), RoW, no options (no sunroof, no power windows, no A/C) just pure fun. It was originally Continental Orange but one of the POs made a very bad decision and had it repainted red. I have a pic of the '02 on my other laptop. I'll post it tomorrow. I'm too ashamed to post the '65. It has a few inches of dust on it, besides the rust.

Thanks for the welcome! I actually started lurking here when I found the forum after I first made contact with Aaron about the car. You all seem like a great group and very helpful and forgiving too (of stupid questions, that is).

Thanks for the tip about the filter wrench, Rick. I have something similar that I used when I owned a 914 some years ago. I'll have to see if it's the same size for the box. You were referring to the filter wrench and not the drain plug, I assume?
