New Porsche Break-In Blues

I WILL follow Porsche's recomendation not to exceed 4200 RPM's for the first 2000 miles. But I'm up to 500 miles and it's starting to kill me. The higher the RPM's, the better this car sounds - I can't wait to get to the 2000 mile point.

Any suggestions to help me get through the next 1500 miles without losing my sanity?
