Any suggestions to help me get through the next 1500 miles without losing my sanity?

I didn't have to give this much thought, as I bought my car used (hope the original owner did follow the recommendation though

). Anyhow, roadtrips are great for this purpose. I am in the san jose bay area, and have taken circuitous trips to big sur, yosemite etc. I am at slightly above 1k miles per month, without even driving the car daily - mostly weekend use!
OR, buy a few treadmills, saw off arms on one side, haul the boxster on, put it in cruise and let it go. Just be sure to hop in every few hours to vary the speed, change gears etc - you do want a proper break-in
