Service Visit

I took my car in for it's first service as I hit 10,000 miles. While on the lift, they discovered one of the front tires had picked up a nail. It was not enough to trip the tire pressure monitor, but nevertheless, had to be replaced.

A real joyous moment, and I jest not. This was my third tire in 15 months that needed to be replaced. Sure glad I bought that tire/wheel insurance. It was $495 for 5 years. At $450 a tire for replacement, labor, balancing, etc. at my dealer (probably a little high), I am way ahead of the game!

Oh yeah, while there, I gawked at a new 911 Turbo for $140,000. Very nice but wifey seems to be able to only focus on the price tag. Sheesh!

Hey Mantis, lots of nails in & around Hotlanta! More nails than water. Sorry about that.

That Turbo would be nice at the Dragon!
