Congrats on getting the new ride so quickly.
How does Orient Red compare to Guards Red? I don't think I've ever seen Orient Red. Regards, mike |
Congrats Robert! All that searching I did here in SoCal means you have to take a drive down here and show me the new ride in person.
|
Nice, glad to see you back in a box. Of course some clear lights would make it pop, but I think you should save your money for some nice nice rims. I think some FIKSE would make that car look freaking mean. So what was the final price?
|
Nice ride! Have fun with your mods!

Way to go Robert! What a great color. Glad that it worked out for you so quickly. It's cool that you find a color you're excited about and got an S. Congrats man.

Sweet!
Looking forward to seeing and reading about future mods. ddb |
I love it...great job.

That looks so clean, Im a fan of the Orient Red, I see a 2.5 version every day and when you see it in the distance your unsure if its a porsche its one of those colours that make you think a Ferrari is coming, I bloody love it. Suppose Hard-top is a bonus, not my thing as i would never keep in on my car. lol
Did you manage to keep your old lights from the blue Box or are you going to have to order a new set?? I cant help thinking Black wheels with chrome lip would look awesome, but the turbo's look fresh. What are the plans?? James |
Hi,nice ride dude! Congrats

I couldn't keep the lights off my old car. I will just have to buy Litronics from someone. What are the plans?? I wanted to start fresh with this car. It's getting a new clutch,flywheel,r.m.s.,i.m.s. seal & 4 c.v. boots done right now. As soon as it comes home from the shop it's getting new oil + filter along with a new air filter. After that it's new wheels, coilovers or Litronics first, whatever I can decide on first. |
new air filter huh? You should check my for sale add, lol.

nice
Hey once again congrats for finding the car. with the right touch you can bring out the color in an exotic way. here are things to consider.
exterior: litronics, smoked corners, updated tail lights (or even the LED ones). smoked third brake light, cayman style spoiler, rear diffuser, bumper plugs, your choice of front bumper and sideskirts, some nice wheels to offset the brakes and your color, gemballa side vents. all this will look sick with your hardtop Interior: you want the aluminum/leather or carbon look. Paint your dash strips silver, get a silver center console or carbon, leather airbag for your steering wheel, nice floor matts, trafffic pro with aux Ipod connector, nice aluminum shift knob, handbrake. thats a start. Suspension: get H&R springs if you want looks and handling. if you want a lil more get PSS9. also get spacers for a more aggressive look. power: evo intake, sport exhaust when you change the clutch look for a limited slip for cheap. anyways that should keep you busy for a while |
Looks pretty sweet! Congrats on your new S! :)
Cheers, Gord. |

Evidently, your friend likes you and didn't want to diss you for not being Jewish. Nice. |
I was thinking how smokin' the whole center console would look in Orient Red. Maybe you could do a few other accent pieces as well, but not too many, so it wouldn't look gaudy.
Orient red is a stand out color. There's no way to be stealth in that car. I don't remember who makes the SSR replicas that David J had on his car, but they would be hot in 19s like he had. Lots of airspace to let those big red calipers breathe. http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k2...024_Medium.jpg |
Sweet !!
Great looking S. Fantastic color!
