went with CPO'd non-PSM boxster '04

thanks for all the replies on my PSM question.

I closed a deal for a 2004 CPO'd base boxster. Carmon Red with beige interior, 17 inch wheels, heated seats and a few other options.

I decided that at my age and driving habits the PSM was not an issue. (nor was the need for the S version)

The last three years I have been driving a BMW Z4 and the DSC came on about 2-3 times. (For comparison, in my 3 series it came on all the time, and it never comes on in my x5)

The boxster is incredible. And it easily tops the Z4.

thanks again for all the insights.

Congrats! It sounds like you are already having a blast in it

I have traction control in my sedan, and it hasn't come on once in the 6.5 years I've owned it - not even when I had to drive it in snow (once - on crater lake, but I was very careful/slow). Wonder if that could be attributed to my "sedate" driving.... just kidding guys

Congrats, these cars are a blast to drive, you should really enjoy yourself. Nowout that statement: "I decided that at my age .......the PSM was not an issue." Son, let me tell you, some of us older drivers likes our PSM, ha!
