Yup, understand the point about it being an added bonus, but just wanted to make sure that you were aware of it. Reg. updated CDs and such, if this is the old nav system, then I think the CDs/software aren't going to be any good, as the display itself is archaic in nature.

If I may...
Your opinion is the only one that counts.
Just be patient.
I had my heart set on 4 different Boxsters before I finally got mine.

I was close to buying a 2000 base model with dings on it, then a 2001S with an iffy history, then a 2002S with tons of extras, the 2003 base model with 5kmiles and finally the well equiped 03 S. All for approximately the same price!
I just learned the market as I was searching. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

Good luck and enjoy the hunt!

At Boxstershorts,

I hear ya. This is the 2nd 00' S I've had my mind set on. First was a 00' S,32k on it,Artic Silver with Litronics......I was 1 hour too late on leaving a deposit. This White one James(Trigem2k) checked out for me and found a bunch of issues with it. Oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles.....

Blink,

I agree with Boxstershorts. Be patient. It took me a year to find just the right car, and when I finally found it, it was very different from what I thought I wanted when I first started to look.

Don't rush and your perfect ride will eventually present itself.

Robert I wish I had my camera to show you close ups of that white S. Honestly dude that car in its current condition should be listed around 18k, if that. It was pretty bad. Front bumper wasn't even installed properly. Missing rivets, screws, terrible re-paint.

My neighbor finally got back to me, I will give him a call about his 2002 S for sale. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Take your time man, there is no rush. I'm willing to check out anything in the SoCal area for you. Just let me know.
