Weather?

How many of you have considered weather as factor when buying your Boxster?

I know I shouldn't buy a Box from Louisiana or Florida. Are there any other places I should stay away from when searching for my Boxster?

Are Washington & Texas o.k. to buy a car from?

Is snow and that stuff really that bad for a car?

It's not the snow that's an issue...it's the salt! But, many P-car owners store the car during the winter.

I'd buy one, from cold-weather States, if store properly.

What do you mean by storing properly?

If it's left in the garage during the winter is that o.k.?

Blink, here is one of the all-time-best posts regarding Winter Storage:

I consider these (most of them) to be storing properly.

Garage
The entire body of the Boxster is galvanized and has a ten year rust free guarantee from Porsche. So it shouldn't matter, I got mine in a snow state, and I look forward to driving it in the snow all year.
