Amazon sent me an email about my order with a delivery date of .... March 2008. I sent them a nasty email because is was in stock when I ordered it, but surprisingly, the emailed back with apologies and said I'd have my book within a week.
Wow, a 2 page personalized email from amazon. I'm impressed! I wonder if the book subject had anything to do with it...

Bentley Service Manual

I just got my service manual yesterday. WOW !!!
My daughter ordered it as a Father's Day gift from Amazon.
It was not too fast in getting here, but well worth the wait.
This manual is a must for BOXSTER Owners.

I ordered mine from amazon about 3 or 4 months ago, so you can imagine my surprise when it actually turned up the other day!

Good manual -almost as helpful as 986forum.com...

^ same here. That's annoying. A little misleading to sell something you don't have.

anyhooters, I have to replace my "wiper fluid sender", according to the local dealer. They quoted me $275 with labor...hmmmm.
Had to stop by there this morning because I needed a diagnostic after I replaced one of my o2 sensors (pre-cat left) but I was still getting the CEL for the same code. I arrive at the dealer come back an hour later and they tell me "code says its an aging sensor and we can't really give you a full diag because the car is still hot." If you can't leave it here all day (which I couldn't) well then here's a bill for 30 mins labor @ $60... grr...
