Okay then, my question here...

If I use a heat gun and remove the BOXSTER badge for a simple delete option, will there be holes, or will a little polishing be enough to take it off with no damage?

DO NOT USE A HEAT GUN!

There's no posts under the badge. Just use dental floss and the badge will come right off.
