I was curious about this because I also have a zenith metallic blue 2000 and I have only seen one on the road with the same color combo and now it looks like two 986ers Blinkwat and BLue 2000s also enjoy the zenith metallic blue.
I usually see Black, Silver, Red and Yellow Boxsters in South Florida and rarely do I see any other colors or color combos. :D |

Ronzi,
I like your rims. Are they originals? |
Certain Colors
I've a 2001 Boxster S in Orient Red w/ Savannah Beige interior. People are all over my car at stop lights, parking lots, etc ... everyone and I mean everyone compliments me on the car. Of course, have not seen another in my area, so defintely unusual. Don't know if this translates to resale difficulty, but not looking to sell anyway.

Get your Boxster with the color YOU like. Enjoy the car (and color). A Boxster is not an investment. When it is time to sell, someone out there will like the color you picked and buy it. All colors are rare, and each color has value to someone.

nothing is rare about the boxster

If you really aren't picky personally about the color, don't buy rare, buy common. Buy the color most people prefer. At the end of the day, you can ask more money because you'll have an easier time finding a buyer. Rare is when you want a specific color, and aren't bugged by the fact you'll have a tougher time trying to sell it.
I really prefer ocean blue with grey interior, although I know when I sell it everyone will be asking why it turns purplish in sunlight:P *sigh* the price I pay... -David |
but people may want something rare, and something that not many people have, if they wanted common they would get a silver honda civic.
porsche is a porsche, if you want to be like everyone else out there you buy black or silver, and put those carrera wheels on it and blend right in ;) |
You wanna see rare? This is rare...
http://damox.com/cars/wallpaper/Ferr..._Enzo_pink.jpg You see, rare doesn't necessarily mean good. |
HEY, Boxsters also come in WHITE :D
Grizzly, That's my car :p :p :p http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...pink20enzo.jpg |

Yikes, that Enzo is hurting my eyes. When I close them I can see the image burned into my retinas. :(
I'd have to say I see tons of Porsches in silver and black. Do a search on eBay and you'll see the vast majority are those monochromatic colors. I've only seen Boxsters the same color as mine on the internet. There are two guys in this board with the dark green exterior. I'd say that's rare... but not as rare as DJ's. |
Here's the million dollar question :
If someone gave you that Enzo on the condition that you could not repaint it, would you drive it ? I don't know if I could :o Nick |

I would drive an Enzo no matter what colour it is. ;) And i may be the minority, but i think that looks sweet, Black rims would work well. also i am not Gay or a girl, lol James |

I would rather have had seal gray with the red, but my silver one has many other things that made the color (colour?) more acceptable. Eric |

Seal grey is sweet, i want a pink boxster now lol James |

I knew you could get a pink Cadillac if you sold enough Mary Kay stuff, but I didn't know you could get an Enzo. |
