I disagree. If you put the BMW Z4, Honda S2000, Nissan 350Z, and the Boxster in a parking lot, average everyday people are going to flock to the Boxster. That's all there is to it.
Now the car guys will know that all of the others are faster cars, but it's the Boxster that gets the looks and captures people's imaginations.
A few days ago a guy I work with told me that his 15 year old son came in to work. The first question out of his mouth was "Who's got the Porsche?"
There's an SLK (older style), Corvette and a Z4 in the parking lot too.
