This is going to be a really great weekend for those that can make it.

Be sure to make your hotel reservations at Cal Neva
Cal • Neva Resort Spa & Casino
http://www.calnevaresort.com/

and to register and become a member on the Babblers website very soon. www.babblers.org

The earlier you make your hotel reservations the better accommodations you will receive due to the terrific deal Larry negotiated on the rooms. Be sure to mention "Boxsterfest" when making your reservations to get the special room rate.

You may either get more information about the BoxsterFest or register here.

Order a souvenir WCBF polo shirt/sweat shirt and the Boxster Beer Bus is waiting for you!

Things kick off on Thursday night in the world famous Indian Room at the Cal Neva Resort. Here you'll be able to register for the BoxsterFest and stand in two States at the same time. Play in a Blackjack Tournament.
Enjoy delicious Hors D'oeuvre and have a few drinks. The early arriver's can enjoy watching the sun set across the lake and mountains.

The infamous Indian Room fireplace is separated by the California/Nevada State line and is the museum anchor of the Resort. Burned to the ground in 1937, this room was remodeled as a mirror image of the previous Lodge. The hard wood floors and grand granite fireplace lend an intimate setting with the old Tahoe feel.

The Circle Bar is found inside the main lobby of the hotel with its beautiful glass dome and original wood carvings still encircling the outside. The dome was handcrafted and contains over 7,000 pieces of individually cut glass. It is a favorite gathering spot for hotel guests and locals alike. Sitting at the bar you can enjoy the pink and red sunsets over the Sierra Mountains, have your favorite drink and watch the sailboats move across the clear blue lake or take in your favorite sports game in the Circle Bar Lounge.

On Friday morning there is a scenic drive planned that will take us exploring the Virginia City area and have lunch at Villa Basque Deli in Carson City. After lunch we will continue our scenic drive back to the hotel.
Not interested in the drive? Then consider this to be free time. Go check out the casino, take a stroll along the beach or enjoy one of the many spa packages at the hotel. Alternatively, head over to Minden Nevada and take a Scenic Glider Ride for some breathtaking sights. Located at the foot of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain range only a few miles from Lake Tahoe, Soar Minden is a popular tourist destination.
Friday night we'll head over to Fifty-Fifty Brewery on Larry's Boxster Beer Bus for a fantastic casual group dinner and beer tasting.

Saturday morning
will be a scenic drive around Lake Tahoe, where we will take in the beautiful scenery. And for the traditional West Coast Boxsterfest group photo. After touring the area and enjoying some wonderful views, we will head back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, Pedro will start his car tech session in the afternoon. You don't want to miss this session!

We'll be returning to the Cal Neva in plenty of time so that everyone can get ready for the Saturday Night Banquet. We again have some free goodies, wonderful door prizes and charity raffle with all the proceeds going to the Big Brothers Big Sisters.

We're not done yet! For those not leaving at the break of dawn on Sunday morning can head out to the many places available for Sunday Brunch.

The organizing committee has put what they consider to be a terrific event together and certainly hope to see you there! Any questions or need some help please contact us.
