new 2007 Boxter

Do any of you have any experience with a quick puff of white smoke when the just driven car is parked for 3-4 hours. It does not always happen. Love this car! Drove the 2008 Audi TT and no contest here. Thx.

I'd say it's the normal puff most of us see from time to time due to it being a flat 6 motor.

H6's are supposed to burn a tiny bit of oil from time to time upon start, right? it seems that is what has been said arond these forums at least

Maybe because you own a BOXTER your getting the white smoke.

My BOXSTER actually doesn't do it.................................Anymore

Fairly common after hard driving - oil gets sloshed around and then burns off.

I get a decent puff like cloud of white smoke upon startup a week after I drove it hard. Goes away fast though and I have been told its normal.
