Different Headlights or just Painted insides?

I saw this image the other day and noticed the headlights were very different looking from the stock ones. It looks like the insides have been painted black or they are completely different all together. Any one know for sure? Is it possible to remove the plastic headlight cover from the casing and paint the inside?

Stock Headlight with Eyelid covers on the bottom rim and around the outter edge of the headlight lense.

No. that's not what I am talking about. Look carefully at the INSIDE COLOR of the headlight itself. It's all BLACK and not silver like the regular ones are that we all have. Here is another picture.

Oh yeah, its possible to remove the lense to paint the inside, it requires letting them bake in the oven for 15 minutes so the glue softens enough to pry the lense from the housing.

I have emailed this Boxster owner, the lights are from a 911 cup car from the late 90's

I have looked and looked and would love to get hold of a set

From my understanding the oven is the only way to pop them open.

Growing up the car magazines said how amazing Porsches are. Was I brainwashed? Somehow...I doubt it.
