Hardtop Hardware Installation

For a hardtop I'll be purchasing, I've ordered the inserts and bolts that will need to be installed. I've learned so far that you need to remove a panel near the recess (for the insert) in order to get the bolt inserted into the clamping mechanism. Anyone know the details on how to remove that panel or is there a website that has the detailed procedure?

Thanks for the link. I have not received the hardware yet but checked out the method anyway. The panel came off very easy. You only have to loosen up the 8 mm hex bolt which will allow the panel to slide out. One thing I did notice is that you have to put the top up about two thirds of the way in order to move a soft top bracket out of the way to insert the allen bolt.

Correction from my previous posting: you actually have to put the top all the way up and lock it in order to screw in the bolts. The boltsthe factory sent to the dealer were the wrong length. Fortunately, having hardware from previously owned Porsches, I managed to find a longer one while the dealer locates the correct bolts.
