Only the "S"s came with "red" calipers. Base models are black (but seem to turn grayish with age and heat).

Red stands out well, but yellow is less common. Silver would look nice, but not stand out well.

If I ever decide to paint my calipers, they will be red.

I know. I was saying Red was factory when painted other than black.

just go and get some high temo paint for your local auto store for 4 bux.
works fine, and can go up to 3000 degrees or so..

then get the decals from xenonmods.com for 7.99 shipped, set of 6, 4 needed and 2 if u F up...and he ships it so damn fast, it gets here next day lol, plus you are supporting the small guy.

i say yellow, but im biased....also, go with brembo decals instead of lame looking porsche decals

Hi,

I used the G2 Kit and it works quite well. I removed my Calipers to paint them and used multiple coats - tricky because the Hardener gives you a fairly small window. But first, I wire brushed them well and used lots of Brake Cleaner to insure good paint adhesion.

I also used the Porsche stickers from xenon mods - not cheesey Brembo labels. Actually think it enhances the look considerably, especially with a Guards Red car...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
