I think you should buy it Nicky!!
Just dont cry to us when it blows up!! Just joking.
I would probably do the 3.4 swap first before supercharging.

IMO if you want 300+ horsepower you should just get a new S which comes with 295 horsepower, muct more reliable than a supercharger, and under warranty with no problems. Throw and exhaust and desnorkle and your damn close to 320 horsepower.

lets no get carried away... you would need a reflash to even come close to seeing that... 25+ is pretty generous for just a exhaust (assuming you are not touching the cats) and a desnorkle.
But this car here for sale scares me... that picture of the blower is from this... http://www.europeancarweb.com/features/0702_ec_supercharged_porsche_boxsters/photo_11.html and it is off a non-S red painted car... not this blue s. Even the dyno is from teh article...
Scariest part? putting turbo on a supercharged car...

This car also has $74k miles. You could probably lease a brand new S model for $700-$800 a month brand new with warranty. I see brand new non-s leases for $550 a month all the time.

Well I said damn close, even at 310 hp, your not really gonna notice a difference.

Yeah, that box looks stupid with the TURBO emblem on the back. And a supercharged decal on the front with a TURBO license plate??? They need to make up thier mind. Or just take all the TURBO crap off if it is actually Supercharged. There is a big differnce between the two. And I hate when people say Turbocharged. Sounds silly. It's either Supercharged or Tubo, not a combination of the 2 words. Just my 2 cents.

When do you expect to have your turbocharged boxster? Why did you go with a turbo instead of a low boost SC kit that would give more low rpm power?
I vassilate between the desire to go with a turbo over a sc kit in my car one day. What made up your mind for you?

I have a Mazda Miata that has done 430/446 on the dyno and it is a real kick in the pants and everywhere else for that matter. I am selling it so anyone who wants a kick, let me know.

Hey Randall-
I actually haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. Talking to Marc at Turbowerx, though, he's talking about 50% power increase, give or take, at 4.5 lb of boost. With lower compression pistons and some other internals, he could do a 500 hp build but that actually scares me, since I got the back end to step out on wet roads on the Dragon...he also says max boost by 2500 rpm. I would need to see the dyno curves before choosing between the turbo and IA's s/c; the curves for the s/c show a big drop in torque below stock until about 2500 rpm, but JP in St Louis says he feels no drop in torque with his s/c.
But I've pretty much made up my mind that for 8 grand, give or take, either of those low boost forced induction systems would provide the best noticeable and relatively cost effective power increase.
