looks nice but..
1-I'm all for no bumperettes but where's the license plate?!
2-how do those tail lights work if they have been painted red and silver?
3-the tail pipes look a little too custom, almost distracting.

but the red coloring across the back looks good and the humps blend pretty ok.

I don't think I would paint my tail lights. I will see if a bodyshop can match the red of the existing taillights.

I just really really really like that look. It's mean looking. I think it will match the rest of my bodywork nicely.

Bogg - I would definitely paint it. Its a 150-200 piece of plastic. If I don't like it i wouldnt even have them paint it back, I'd just buy another one. Oh and I didn't delete you, I just deleted my entire myspace account.

Hmm. I don't really like the red stripe thing because it's not flat across the bottom. Also, have you considered what it's going to look like when the spoiler is raised?

I would definitely suggest trying red vinyl tape first. You also are going to want to color match the stripe to the lenses on your tails, rather than just take "guards red" and do it up, I suspect.

I think the red might even look a little better with the older 986 bumper given the straight shape vs the curved shape of the spoiler ends...also adding a little extra to keep the red in line with the bottom of the lights.
Something like the edited example below.
