When people would comment about the cryptic controls he would always say, "If you don't know how to operate it, you shouldn't be in it."

By the way, that is the only 911 or 912 in which I rode in the back "seat".

There is a 912 sitting at the shop where I get the BMW serviced. Owner can't decide what to do with it. Needs some work but when I saw it I thought that would look good restored and on the road.

I have two 912s(projects). They're cool little cars. Not as fast as the 911, but handle better 'cause they don't have that huge motor hanging out over their ass.
