Well I have officially joined the ranks of the clear headlight club

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ABCA%3AUS%3A11&viewitem=&item=130123746963

It was little more then I wanted to spend for them since the inner lenses are burnt but I figured that since I have an extra set of headlights that it would be well worth it to do the swap. 405 shipped no where close to the 82 that some other forum member spent but it still saved me a fortune considering that these new are close too 600-800. By any chance did anyone trying bidding this particular auction?

Replacing the burnt lenses is an involved process, but it can be done. Check out

This should give you an idea of what's involved.

thank you for the thread but that is kinda why I got them in the first place. It's simple enough to do and plus alot cheaper to do then buying brand new clear lights at higher price.

I saw them but didn't bid. Just didn't want to deal with the burnt issue. Hope the fix is easy, if so you got a great deal. Keep us up on the progress.
