Anyone Know What Rims These Are?
Okay, so I went in search of these rims, I was told that these were the TechArt, but the ones shown have 4 small rivets between the spokes. Other than that they look just like the TechArt ones. So my question now is, does anyone know what rims these really are? Brand? Make?

Those are either NAD's, TSW's, or Victor Equipments. They all make a version similar, but not identical to the Techart. Happy hunting!

I like those. But they look to much like the ones I currently have. Your tires still don't come out far enough to the edge of the lip. That bothers me too. I preffer these for my next set of rims.

I am trying to see if i can get the lip of the wheel to stick out 1/2" beyond the tire (Just kidding). Those look good, send pictures when they are on your car.

Because whe you say wheels it sounds like your could be talking about the tires also. Wheels as a "whole" entity could include the tires. That's why we say rims and tires instead of just wheels. Breaks it down somewhat.

Rim to Wheel
Times have changed. When I was a teenager in the 60s, the rim held the tire and the entire assembly bolted onto the wheel. That concept seems to have changed and I now hear both terms used interchangeably. But if that's the case, what do you call the round thing the wheel bolts onto?
It's alot like the what constitutes a motor and engine debate.

OK, that explains it. The hub is what we used to call the very center of what we called the wheel. You would pop out the small cap of the hub and pack the bearings in grease. I see the vernacular has changed to the entire assembly called the hub.

Do you have pictures?
I found these wheels (WORK -RKF) at wheelenhancement.com, but found out they were over $3K for a set of 19s and that's not including tires.

I have pics but never put any on here is it easy to do? also are you looking for 19 inch, and how much have you lowered yours i`m just doing mine 20mm wanted to do it 30mm but read it was a bad idea with 19 inch wheels don`t know if this is true, do you know?cheers

my 986 had 19" Antera's on 1.5" drop ...ran no problem with clearing suspension or guard or steering, width was 8.5 and 10. tyres were 225/35 and 265/30. offset is important get that wrong and youre really screwed...

if those are your rims and tires, the tires look too narrow for that rim. Couldnt you afford a wider tire? what size tire is that?
I mean no offense..
by the way do you like them? I was looking at those also, and also the ones in black...
Also did you need a spacer for the back?
