Talking Best Exhaust for Boxster???

Hello to all. New as new can be to the Boxster world. Bought a 2000 S Triple Black, love it. 40k. Will take some pictures today and post for everybody to see. Alright here is the deal, I also have a Ferrari 348, running a Tubi and Test pipes. I am not worried about emissions, so I am planning to go all the way with the exhuast in the future. (headers & delete all cats) On the Boxster. So Boxster world who sounds the best, who has what on? Sterbo, Borla, ??? Feed back please. I just want great sounds. There is no doubt Tubi, is best for Ferrari. What is best for the Boxster. What sounds the best? What I do not want by any means is for the car to sound like a ricer. Oh my god that would be horrible. Does anyone have any good links to youtube that sound awesome? Something that screams Porsche! Thanks allot, and I love the car, it ROCKS! GQ

I have the Tequiptment/Porsche Sport Exhaust(eisenmann). Its perfect for my taste. It now sounds like a stock 996.
Go to Youtube.com, type: Boxster with Porsche Sport Exhaust. There is a good sample of a 2.7 986 with PSE.
In fact, Youtube has lots of sound clips of Posche exhaust.
IMO, youll be safe with most highend european mufflers. Euro Mufflers arent that loud and has fairly no/or have less resonance compared to other cheaper brands.

P.S. Oh yes, Tubi Style definitely rocks! Im looking forward to put this on my M5(Eisenmann x-pipe with Tubi Style).

I have had a few exhaust on my 99 boxster.

You can find clips of them all at www.youtube.com/gwhand all of them except stock!!

As far as your cats go, there should be 4 on your car, there have been guys who have taken off 2 of them with very god results. If you take all 4 cats off you i think you will have cel issues.

Mine is a 99 with on 2 cats so check the board I know there has been conversations about the cat removals and there should be plenty of advice/opinions out there.

Make it a great day
Gary

Growing up the car magazines said how amazing Porsches are. Was I brainwashed? Somehow...I doubt it.

Hell, I have no idea. I always thought they were too expensive for my wallet and therefore never considered ordering one.

Gemballa has some nice sounding exhausts.

There is a clip of my car somewhere on this forum although I couldn't find it.

I personally really like the Porsche Sport Exhaust because of the awesome sound. At higher RPM's it literally screams yet there is no resonance in cab when driving around town or humming down the freeway. The look is great. I get compliments on it all the time. The only downside is that it is extremely heavy and kind of expensive.
