Mine look the same way. I don't know of any other way other than covering them up as sugested earlier. You could paint over them with the silver matching trim color or tint that section with black.

Heres what I did. Limo tint the amber lights and we put clear shield over it. My local radio shop charged me $40 total for this. You could probably do it yourself with some tint from walmart but you may need to replace it once a year without the clear shield. I have the amber side blinker lights too but I just got back from vaca I'll probably install those tommorrow, along with the heated seats kit and HID lights. I'll let everybody know before and after pics on each item for those of you that are thinking about similar upgrades.
I like the lights alot now, it gives it a custom blackout type look, plus my windows are limo tinted. Actually my lambo has this similar look from factory as you can see in the last pic.

It would be so cool if that chick's name was Amber.
Anyway, I think amber (the color -not the sign pole) looks good on yellow. (It's decent with red too.)

I think your asking for alot there. lol This is pretty custom and I havnt seen anybody else really that has done this. If you want to see it on your car cut out the lights from the pics above on my car and photoshop them onto your car

you can get some of that black tint film from auto store and lay it over the amber and see if you like it before doing the real deal with paint. pteam also has an ebay weblink for tinted headlight film protection which is worth looking into...if you don't like it, just peel it off. personally, i like the amber on my lapis blue 02 box....seems to be a good contrast compared to clear or tint but everyone has his/her own taste.

i did the ebay tinted film to cover the amber. i would recommend using 2 films at least if you want to do it right. i applied one layer and it just made it dark amber which still looks better than glowing orange color. but it's temporary solution, i'm waiting on deal for clear lights or litronics.

No, my remote is still dead. I've been too busy. I need to get it done soon. I'm thinking of just getting a whole new alarm with remote start and the works! Apparently there is one that calls or alerts your remote in the event of an alarm. Cool!

I have an alarm like this on my hummer. It'll page your remote and show you what part of the car set the alarm off, it has a motion sensor, and works up to 2 miles away, remote start, everything pretty much. Its real nice, but I dont use it alot only when I go places not around town.

Sorry to bump this, but went to the autoparts store got the darkest tint and took about an hour last night putting it on...it looks great. I have a black car and I think it was worth the $12.00. Dont get me wrong, I would still rather have all clear, but this looks good.

I am completely inept at posting pictures on this site...we'll see. I did have a question, when your guys did it did they do one solid piece or did they break up the tint for the little triagle reflector piece? By the looks of your pictures they did one piece as I did, the only problem is the crack between the two pieces translates through the film......

They did one solid piece. Yea it has to go over the gap but it looks real good I think, theres no crease.

Glad the guards red cars look better with the ambers... That's a lot of bucks and effort. It is true that some color cars do look better de-ambered!
