more likely it's your AOS (glorified PCV valve) based on lots of smoke. Go to autozone and get the codes read for free and post the #s they give you.

Can you open the oil filler cap easily when running? Pull the j-tube from the throttle body intake and see if oil is puddling there. If so, definitely AOS.

Do a search in the archives for it and how to replace. Not easy, but a DIY for $100 vs dealer replace at $300+.
