Mine is a 2.7 L. 2002 Box. I don't know if the plug gap is the same for 2.5L. Please advise. Thanks!

The spec for the 4 side electrode plug is something like 1.6 mm, but I do not know how you would measure it.

1.6 mm would be 0.063 inches. I wonder if those plug gappers can measure it..it's been awhile since I used one. Otherwise I have to use a micrometer or vernier calipers. I guess I would measure from the tip of the vertical prong to the white porcelain thing. I am more used to measuring on a conventional single prong plug.

According to my service manual Boxsters MY 1997 - 2004 all get a spark plug gap of 1.66mm + 0.05mm for all plug brands.

So, I'm about to use champion double platinum spaced at. 50 on a 2001 2.7 Would this cause a problem?
