is anyone going to go to the Indianapolis Speedway on 6/17 to F1 race?

just when i tought i had it good, my GF suprises me with F1 tickets for our anniversary. love it.

ill be there full out in my Renault shirt and hat

Congrats.
i'll be attending the Canadian G.P. , i'm not a huge fan of Indy, the track faciliyies are great but i hate the fact that there is no F1 nitelife, and you have to park on some rednecks lawn by the track and the nasty redneck women chomping on huge turkey legs as a snack.
As long as you stay in the track you will have a great time.

on a racing related note....
check out the standings in the FIA GT2 after only three rounds.
The once dominant rear engined Porsches are getting trounced by the mid engined F430's after only three rounds. I think the GT racing department at Porsche are going to be reconsidering this engine in the back thing very soon.

i looked at the schedule for that day at the track, there gonne be some very nice GT3 cars there
