Fab. Do you have a Tamper Proof Torx set? If not, you will need them to remove the tamper proof torx screws that hold the MAF onto the intake tube.

They come in handy in the future incase you need to paint your interior peices because most of them are held in by torx head screws.

I bought a set of TP-Torx bits from Sears for around 7 bucks and they are Craftsmen so if they break, you get free replacements for life.

porschedude- I got some pics from a link posted in one of the threads from my search. Thanks for the offer.
CJ- Yeah, need to buy another tool.....which I don't mind especially when I will be saving tons of moolah doing it myself.

Quick question, could I harm the MAF if I wore plastic gloves to do the cleaning?

It shouldnt matter gloves or not... but at all costs, try your hardest not to touch the part of the MAF that is IN the intake tube with your hands.

Update:
Had the MAF cleaned and reset CEL. Car is running fine until the other day. I was stuck in traffic and the CEL came on. This is the second time CEL came on while I was stuck in traffic, pretty much stop and go.
I haven't had a chance to take it to a local AZ to read my code but I susoect it's a 1130 again.
I've searched numerous threads and a majority of folks reporting a CEL 1130 also got a CEL 1128. My case it's just CEL 1130.

What do you think it could be?
1. MAF
2. 02 sensor
3. AOS
