Service Position is when the top moves about 12 inches (from closed position) and the rear cover pops up. Then I think you still need to remove a cover inside the engine bay area.

I saw the dealership do this last week when my car was in getting the PSE installed.

I think the engine looks really cool from the underside...when on a lift...not much to see from the top.
