I think it looks kind of race car too....I like the idea o f the chrome lip but I think I would agree first with Blink, those lug nuts need to go black....I didn't really notice it till he mentioned it....red stripe is kinda cool too

yeah you don't want to paint lug nuts. I had a set of trick spline drive lug nuts in red and they looked great until I had to remove the wheels..

off topic:

okay, back to DJ...what kind of bumper are you thinking to put on?

I prefer black wheels with a silver combo. Either the lip is silver or some other part of the wheel. Otherwise the wheel justs blends in with the road and tire and you can't even really see it.
Here is one that I think looks pretty cool.

Djomlas, it looks really good
I was going to start a new thread but I saw this one ... not to jack the thread.
What color should I paint my wheels on my car? Black 987.
I was considering black, but feared there might not be enough contrast. Then I considered some whacky colors like puke green but thought it would look horrible or I'd get tired of it.
Any suggestions?
How would black with white wheels look?

I think the wheels themselves look good in black, but they do get lost on the car and appear like spares or winter steelies. Good job on them though.

Not a fan of black wheels myself, as someone else mentioned it makes it look like the car's on spares or steelies. Not enough contrast and it makes the wheel wells look empty.
But I'm in the minority here I guess. I see a LOT of people with black wheels so to each their own! Good to see you did the center caps too.

nice, I'm going to powder coat my Turbo wheels flat black and put the yellow strip around the lip of the rim. Should look sweet with my new turbo front end.
